The 9.30 Service Ministry exists to promote lively and relevant inclusive family worship

and to provide teaching and care for children in pre-teenage years.

Ministry Goals

On an ongoing basis we will:

·   encourage a diverse participation from the congregation

·   maintain the individual flavour and style of the service

·   be open to the Spirit in the way the service evolves

·   ensure the shared time is particularly relevant

·   maintain an open and welcoming door to encourage newcomers into WSUC

By 2011 the 9.30 Service Ministry will:

   ·   have increased the size of its congregation by 30%

   ·   have an increase in participation which is proportionate to this figure

            ·   have a new core team in place

·   plan all teaching to follow the service theme

Some of the steps we’ll take:

·   hold outreach events

      ·   actively seek out and nurture new contributors to the 9.30 service

·   encourage links with other outreach activities such as Mothers and Toddlers, Holiday Club, Junior Hillend etc.

The core group for this service comprises Sarah Taylor, Sheila Handley and Peter Butcher.

You can find us most Sundays in church at the 9-30 service; we really hope that newcomers will find a welcome

as we seek to continually evolve and move forward in His name.
