Buckingham General Charities consists of 12 Trustee\'s, who are responsible for 12 Almshouses in the Town which are single person bedsits They also have a Welfare Charity, which can make financial contributions to persons in need.
To qualify for either of the above people must have lived in the former Buckingham Borough area (Buckingham Gawcott Lenborough and Bourton) for at least 2 years.
The Charity also owns allotments and other land in Gawcott.
Occasionally there are vacancies in the Almshouses and also for people to serve as Trustees of the Charity.
