Steeple Claydon is located 4 miles south of Buckingham and has a population of about 2400. It is one of the largest villages in the Vale of Aylesbury and has a very active community. The village has a Church (St Michaels), Methodist Chapel, primary school, Sure Start Children’s Centre, two pubs, a Co-Op with a cash machine, Post Office, bakery, hairdresser, fish and chip shop, dentist, doctor’s surgery, vet and a garage.
