Befrienders

Befrienders are an important part of the Well Street pastoral system. They are people who support and encourage someone who is perhaps struggling, isolated, friendless etc.
A Befriender is called on to get alongside someone else and develop a friendship based on common interests and a desire to serve others.
For example one Befriender takes someone walking regularly, others visit in Hamilton House, sit and chat over a cup of tea, do odd jobs around the house, take someone shopping, help with the garden or take someone out for a cup of coffee – our Befrienders can be as creative as they like!
Would you like to get alongside someone who is feeling alone and without anyone who cares?
