Outreach

 We will make outreach a priority as the Lord leads us, for example, by:

       A midweek cafe-style service, attracting people who find Sunday church still a step too far for them.

        Alpha and Youth Alphas on an annual basis at least

        Lunch clubs as a regular feature as well as Christmas lunch, largely drawing in those who are retired, or disadvantaged.

        A daily cafe where business-people as well as others who are around the town can find a place to chill and build friendships.

        Working with CAB and others providing debt management advice, parenting courses, drug awareness schemes and other opportunities for building bridges with the community.

        Helping people in times of crisis or difficulty whether through offering financial support, a listening ear or the practical support of meals, lifts and fellowship.

        Fostering overseas links, particularly encouraging young people to visit our Christian projects in Bangladesh and elsewhere and to facilitate visits from them to us. We will also develop further links with Buckingham university students offering a welcome in what will appear to many of them a very strange land!

        Encouraging all kinds of relational evangelism through cell groups, pub links, sports, music and food.

        Developing people with welcoming skills and ensuring an accessible, visual display of all the church’s work.

      For all these we will seek people with a heart to care for others, working within and beyond our buildings to share the love of Jesus.
