12th September - Help needed
The garden at the rear/side of the Church is overgrown (again). We intend to do some work on it on Saturday 12th September. If you can spare an hour or two between 10.00 until 12.00 at Well Street I would be very appreciative. Please bring your own tools (gloves, strimmer, secateurs, etc.) and let church office know if you can help at all. Thank you.

Come along on Saturday, September 19th at 7.30 and have a lovely sing-song, enjoying some cakes and the atmosphere of the late Victorian era at the Old Time Music Hall event at Well Street United Church. Tickets are now available from Barbara Farmer, Bartlett Tea Rooms or at the door on the night. Cost is only £6 and all profits will go to Project Street Life. If anyone would like a lift to and from the venue, please contact Erik at the church office.
(Music hall is a type of British entertainment popular between 1850 and 1960. It can be a mixture of popular songs, comedy, speciality acts and variety entertainment. The term is derived from a type of theatre or venue in which such entertainment took place.)
