If you would like to come please contact church office as soon as possible. This is a time to meet friends and share a meal together, so please join us.
Tim Edworthy's Induction Service
Join us on Saturday 4thOctober at 2pm at the Parish Church for this important event.
Harvest Festival Service
We welcome Phil Evans from Christian Aid as our speaker on ‘Christian Aid and Harvest’. Please bring donations of non-perishable food, which will be given to the Buckingham Box, who give food parcels to those in need in our community. They particularly ask for the following:
packs of 40 teabags; bags of sugar; small packs of biscuits; pasta sauce; long-life orange or apple juice; small packs of cereal; jars of jam and marmalade.
Please do not bring any fresh produce! We have found that on previous occasions nobody was interested in taking these after the service. Thank you for your understanding.
Welcome Tea at Well Street
Have you joined us in recent months? Would you like to know a bit more about us and our church? The leadership of Well Street United Church invite you to come along to the Welcome Tea on Saturday 18th October 2014, 3.30 pm at our church building in Well Street. There will be a short presentation on things you might like to know followed by teas/coffees, sandwiches and cakes. A good opportunity to meet people, chat informally and ask any questions concerning the life of the church. Contact church office if you would like to come along.
Well Street Variety Show
We invite everyone - young and old - to be part of the Well Street Variety Show on Friday 7th November from 7.30pm at Well Street church. If you can sing, play, dance, do magic, tell jokes or have any other talents, then Barbara Farmer would very much like to hear from you. Pick up a form on Sundays, from the office or download it from here.
Be part of it! More info to follow.
